Can I shelter with you, I’m on the road, I’m in trouble too,
They got some mean men coming, got some hurting overdue.

They called him Sonny Ramone, a fighter from birth, father unknown
He had a mean left jab that could cut to the bone

He was a small draw, shorter than most, light on his feet,
He had a powder keg temper that was blood red heat

He had big dreams, Hollywood big, larger than life
He wanted girls on the side and a trophy wife

He was tough in the ring, knocked out a few, good footwork too,
But he was going nowhere, And soon it’d all fall through,
